How do I know if a pothole has damaged my tyre?

Check the sidewall for a bulge, blister or cut, and watch whether that tyre starts losing air faster than the others. Then pay attention to how the car drives, as pulling to one side suggests alignment damage and a vibration that worsens with speed suggests a buckled or unbalanced wheel. Since roughly half of pothole damage is not visible straight away, a professional check is worthwhile after any heavy impact.
